Message from Principal Farley

Mar 20 2020

Hello WMS Families,

I hope everyone is well. These are unprecedented times that we are living. My purpose of this communication is to provide you with resources to help during these times.

We are not in a position to be able to go virtual. However, supplementary activities can help us as we move forward.

While the Bay County Libraries are closed, they have a great selection of digital books if you have a library card: https://www.baycountylibrary.org/digital-collections

Study Island for Home is offering free subscriptions to families impacted by school closure: https://e.edmentum.com/edmentumsupport2020/

If you are looking for something different to work on, Code.org has a page dedicated to learning at home: https://code.org/athome

spring break 2020I would also encourage our students to journal while out. Once we get through this, I think our students would find value in looking back on their thoughts and feelings during this time. It can also be a great way to relieve stress by getting it on paper.

Please feel free to visit our Facebook page to share what your students are doing to keep busy. We miss them!

Today also marks the start of our M-W-F meal site at Western, 11:30 am to noon.

Take care,
David Farley,
Principal
