Awards Assemblies
End of 1st Semester
- Student recognition assembly by grade level
acknowledging honor roll students
- Recognition to Include:
- Honor Roll Award – 3.0 GPA or higher for MP 1,
2, or 3 in grade 6 and 7. Ex. If student was on
honor roll for 1st and 3rd MP, then student would be
in the group of students who was on the Honor Roll 2
out of 3 MPs, etc.
- 8th Grade: Students will be recognized as Honor
Students for those who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
or higher for the semester.
- Academic Improvement Award for MP1 to MP 3. The
improvement must be a .5 GPA or higher
- At end of each MP, a list of Honor Roll students of
each grade will be posted in the hallway
- Citizenship awards will be distributed in the
classrooms to students who achieved a 3.5 average for
higher for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd marking period
End of School Year

- Noon for 8th Grade
- Recognition to Include
- 8th Grade
- Randy Koch Award
- Presidential Award
- Principal’s Award
- Attendance Award (2 days (12-14 class
periods) or less)
- Other special awards as requested by staff
- Citizenship Awards will be distributed in
the classrooms to students who achieved a 3.5
avg. or higher for 4th or 5th marking period
- Reception in Commons with cookies and punch
for all students
- 6th & 7th Grade
- Honor Roll Award (3.0 GPA or higher in MP4
or MP5
- Randy Koch Award
- Attendance Award (2 days (12-14 class
periods) or less)
- Other special awards as requested by staff
